Roadside shrine to Difunta Correa

Prompt Paper question (due TBA ): What role do relics, shrines and ceremonies play in religious information distribution systems?

Assignment (due: TBA): Students will create an assemblage, installation, shrine or ceremonial performance informed by their response to the prompt question.

Guidelines:

  • This is not to be an opinion-oriented piece.
  • This is intended to be a respectful homage.
  • I suggest you research a religion other than your own.
  • You are to reference an actual religion, not a made-up one.
  • Ceremonial performance pieces must be archived (video taped, etc.)

Rationale paper (due: TBA) Must be word-processed.
